Salinas is willing to make coffee the axis of this idea and it is here that he meets what will be the love of his life: a woman who is an expert in coffee and who is called Gaviota. Leónidas Salinas is a citizen of the world, cheerful, funny and with a great social conscience. Salinas and Gaviota have a joint project, inspired by Gaviota's dream, of setting up a women's cooperative to produce specialty coffee.

Seagull's mom. She is pretty, simple, humble, hard-working and with a good heart. Soap opera fan. Her great love, Gaviota's father, left her as soon as he found out that she was pregnant, which is why she fears that her daughter will repeat the same story as hers with Sebastián. She gave her last name to her daughter and it became clear to her that they only have each other. She sews, embroiders, she makes her own clothes and Gaviota's. Whenever she arrives at a place, she decorates it and organizes it in an exemplary way. There were rumors that there was a romance between Carmenza and Octavio because Octavio's admiration for her was unquestionable for being a strong, hard-working woman and proud to be a peasant.

Matriarch of the Vallejos. She is an upper class woman, conservative and of rigid principles. Always accustomed to having everything, she went from being the darling of her family to marrying Octavio Vallejo, who always treated her like a princess. Although deep down she has a good heart, the fact of having practically lived in a glass box, protected and far from many realities, Julia is classist and arrogant. For Julia it is a great blow to discover that Sebastián has fallen in love with Gaviota, a harvester farmer who she considers is not the woman for her son. It will be very difficult for him to accept her as one more member of her family and to recognize that Gaviota is a valuable woman who truly loves her son.

In this process, he also becomes a cold, calculating, narcissistic and self-centered man, who shows his power by acquiring lavish things: he buys a plane, jewelry, art, he even changes his way of dressing for an extravagant style that attracts attention all the time, advised by Marcia, his lover, with whom he has spent the same time as with Lucrecia. Driven by this fixed idea of beating Sebastian at everything, he does not hesitate to involve him in an illegal business that he is unaware of, regardless of the consequences. And it is that Iván does not mind going over anyone, even his own family to get what he wants.
